factual, outcome-driven, process-first.
2002 – Sriram Law Academy is launched by a small group of lawyers with one clear, rational objective: create a predictable, high-quality engine that produces outstanding law professionals year after year.
2003 – The engine fires immediately. In the very first cycle, 25 selections to NLSIU Bangalore and NALSAR Hyderabad — enough to make Chennai a national CLAT coaching hub.
2004 – The model scales. Sriram students take AIR 1, 2, 4 and enter NLSIU Bangalore. Early signs of a system that works under pressure.
2005 – More top All India Ranks. More NLSIU admits. The compounding loops quietly strengthen.
2006 – A landmark. Classroom student K. Prahalad scores 170.25, the highest entrance score ever recorded, and takes AIR 1. This is what happens when a process compounds long enough.
2007 – Another AIR 1 (Bhargav Joshi). 72 top ranks enter NLUs. Scale without loss of quality — the hallmark of a strong system.
2008 – Aarathi Gopal secures AIR 1. Many more enter NLUs. The flywheel gains torque.
2009 – AIR 1 (Divya Srinivasan) and AIR 2 (Parikh Jagdish) head to NLU Delhi.
2010 – AIR 1 (Pragya Vats) and AIR 2 (Shiva Santhosh Kumar) join NLS Bangalore. Two decades in, the pattern stays predictable.

2012 – A sweep of the top four ranks:

2015 – More top ranks across exams. Natasha secures AIR 1 in MNLUAT.
2016 – Four of the top ten CLAT ranks are from Sriram:
AIR 1, 6, 7, 8.
Also: AILET AIR 1 – Karan Dhalla.
The compounding curve steepens.
2017 – Strong national performance continues:
AIR 2 AILET, AIR 6, 10, 11 CLAT.
2018 – State Ranks 1, 2, 3 join NLSIU Bangalore.
A large cohort continues moving to NLUs.
(The academy records 387 NLU selections in the 2022 season, an indicator of long-cycle compounding.)
2019 – AIR 2 (Maryam), AIR 7 (Naomi Manoj) and a 371-strong NLU cohort — scale remains robust.
2020 – Yet again State Ranks 1, 2, 3 enter NLSIU Bangalore.
Dozens more join NLUs.
The consistency across years illustrates the durability of the model.
2021 – Another clean State 1–3 sweep to NLSIU Bangalore, backed by a large volume of NLU admits — proof that the pipeline stays healthy regardless of external cycles.
2022 – State Ranks 1 (Neha) and 2 (Abirami).
A high volume of NLU selections continues.
The system remains predictable even in volatile exam seasons.
2023 – TN State Ranks 1 & 2 (Avanthika, Vidyut).
Karnataka Rank 1 (Kshitika) joins NLSIU.
“Hundreds” make it to NLUs — breadth and depth remain intact.
2024 – TN State Ranks 1 & 2 (Barbara Prem and Kunsh Jain) join NLSIU.
Another year with hundreds of NLU selections — the now-familiar compounding curve.
2025 – A rare sweep: TN State Ranks 1, 2, 3, 4 — Kamakshi Tandon, Samhita Anand, Rasmika, and Mitali — all join NLSIU Bangalore.
The academy again sends hundreds to NLUs.
After 25 years, the output looks almost machine-like.
