Eligibility

  1. There will be no upper age limit for UG Programme in CLAT 2022.
  2. As regards minimum percentage of marks in the qualifying examination (i.e., 10+2 or an equivalent examination), the candidates must have secured 45% marks or its equivalent grade in case of candidates belonging to General / OBC / PWD / NRI / PIO / OCI categories and 40% marks or equivalent in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST categories.
  3. Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination in March/April, 2022 are also eligible to appear in CLAT 2022 examination. 
CLAT SYLLABUS:

CLAT exam tests a student's aptitude and reasoning abilities. It has five sections namely 

English Language 

Current Affairs, including General Knowledge 

Legal Reasoning 

Logical Reasoning 

Quantitative Techniques

CLAT 2022 would be a 2-hour test, with 150 multiple-choice questions carrying 1 mark each. There shall be negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.

English Language28-32 questions, or roughly 20% of the paper
Current Affairs, including General Knowledge35-39 questions, or roughly 25% of the paper
Legal Reasoning35-39 questions, or roughly 25% of the paper
Logical Reasoning28-32 questions, or roughly 20% of the paper
